Paul Keller, Vice President and COO, is a senior consultant with Quality America, Inc. Paul has developed and implemented successful Six Sigma and quality improvement programs in service and manufacturing environments. Paul has been with Quality America since 1992, where he has:

• Developed and managed systems for overall operations, including quality improvement, product development, partner relations, marketing, sales, order fulfillment, and technical support.
• Provided primary statistical expertise to the customer base, as well as internal software development, sales, and technical support teams.
• Developed and implemented Six Sigma-related courses, including quality management, statistical process control (SPC), and designed experiments, to hundreds of companies in a wide variety of industries, including Roche Pharmaceuticals, Core3 Inc. Business Process Outsourcing, U.S. Army, MacDermid Printing Solutions, Boeing Satellite, Dow Corning, Antec, Pfizer, Warner Lambert, and many others.

Before launching Quality America's training and consulting business in 1992, Paul specialized in quality engineering in the Masters program at the University of Arizona. He applied these techniques as a quality manager for a consumer goods manufacturer (1990-1992) and as an SPC director at an industrial products manufacturer (1987-1990). In these roles, he developed company-wide quality systems to meet the demands of a diverse customer base, including the automotive and aerospace industries.

Paul is currently active in Six Sigma training and consulting through Quality America and ed2go.

Pearlie Bush was born and raised in a small town in Louisiana. After graduating high school, she attended Southern University, majoring in political science with a minor in English. While conducting her undergraduate studies, she was also active in politics and had the opportunity to work on the campaigns of Senator Willie Crain and Charles Jones, and she also served as Senator Crain's committee clerk at the Louisiana State Capital.

She went on to earn her law degree from the Southern University Law Center. In law school, she concentrated her studies in the areas of contract and constitutional law. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk for the Louisiana Public Defender's Office. While working for the Public Defender's Office, she drafted various motions and briefs on several landmark cases.

After graduating law school, she moved to Georgia and ran a private law office. Pearlie also worked as a case law editor for Lexis-Nexis and edited and prepared final drafts for legal cases stored in the company's data base. Pearlie has taught various legal courses at a variety of institutions. In her free time, as little as it is, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with her husband, children, friends, and family. She enjoys outdoor activities and attends all Atlanta Falcons football games.

Vicki M. Lambert, CPP, is president and academic director of Vicki M. Lambert, LLC, a firm specializing in the training of payroll professionals. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in all facets of payroll functions as well as over 20 years as a trainer and author, Vicki has become the most sought-after and respected voice in the practice and management of payroll issues. She's conducted open market training seminars on payroll issues across the United States that have been attended by executives and professionals from some of the most prestigious firms in business today.

Vicki has lectured extensively on payroll administration and compliance issues for clients that have included Automatic Data Processing, CCH Incorporated, Ceridian Employer Services, and The Employer Group. Vicki has also served as a consultant and in-house trainer for businesses such as Sun Microsystems, Paychex, Fox Studios, Disney, County of Riverside, and City of Hesperia.

Vicki currently produces and presents audio seminars and Webcasts for clients, including Institute of Management & Administration (IOMA, Inc), Bureau of National Affairs, Center for Competitive Management, Business 21 Publishing, and Progressive Business Conferences. She's currently the editor for IOMA's Payroll Manager's Report and was a member of the board of advisors for the CCH, Incorporated, Payroll Management Guide (disbanded). She's a contributing editor for the Payroll Practitioner's Monthly and has authored, co-authored, or edited numerous payroll publications, newsletters, and articles.

Vicki is also the host of the Payroll Hour, a radio program that explores and highlights the importance and vitality of the payroll function within the realms of politics, business, and people’s everyday lives. The program is broadcast on Vegas All Net Radio from Las Vegas, Nevada, and can also be accessed on the Internet at www.vegasallnetradio.com.

Continuing Education
Vicki conceived of, created the teaching and student manual, and coordinated the program for the certificate in payroll practice and management that's been offered on-site through the Extended Education Offices of Chapman University, California State University Long Beach, National University, and California State University, Northridge. Through Vicki's innovation, the payroll practice and management program is now being offered online at Pierce College in WA, Chapman University in CA, Aims Community College in CO, Rock Valley Community College in IL, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Bucks County Community College in PA, Spartanburg Community College in SC, and in over 400 other colleges and universities nationwide through ed2go.

Mindy Harada is an employment tax specialist and has over 19 years of employment tax experience as an independent consultant, an employee with one of the "Big Four" firms, and as a payroll tax auditor with the state of California.

Mindy provides consulting services encompassing the complete array of human resource and payroll tax issues. These include payroll tax minimization studies, downsize consulting, payroll tax compliance reviews, and independent contractor studies. Mindy represents clients in many different industries at both the state and federal level during independent contractor and payroll compliance audits.

Now a sole proprietor, Mindy previously was the West Coast practice leader for the employment tax practice at Deloitte Tax LLP. Ms. Harada's prior employment as a tax auditor IV with the Employment Development Department, State of California, has allowed her to assist clients undergoing a payroll tax audit. She spent two years as a hearing specialist before the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, representing the EDD during the administrative appeals process.

Mindy's a frequent presenter on various employment tax topics at APA events on the West Coast and for several payroll service providers on a national basis. She has presented before the California Society of CPAs and has also spoken at several California Payroll Conferences, as well as at conferences in the Pacific Northwest and many other locations throughout the country.

Mindy holds a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting from San Jose State University. She is a Certified Payroll Professional.

Laurie M. Fagundes, CPP, is a payroll industry veteran with over 21 years of payroll management experience. She holds a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and earned her Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation in 1992.

Laurie has managed the disbursement function of large corporations, having been the senior disbursements manager with responsibility for payroll and accounts payable at Excite@Home Corporation, senior payroll manager at DHL Airways, Inc., and payroll manager at Oracle Corporation. Her areas of responsibility have included payroll tax filing in all 50 states plus the U.S. possessions.

Since 2001 she's been working as an independent payroll consultant, assisting corporations with payroll implementations, process reengineering, procedures documentation, and outsourcing.
