Patrick L. Cote has over 30 years of law enforcement and emergency management experience. He was a full-time criminal justice instructor for Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina, for three years. He was also a licensed private investigator in the State of North Carolina, and has ten years of experience teaching part-time at Tunxis Community College in Farmington, Connecticut, at Central Arizona Community College in Coolidge, Arizona, and at Aims Community College in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Patrick was in law enforcement for 30 years, the last 11 as police chief in Florence, Arizona, and in Somersworth, New Hampshire. He began his career in Bristol, Connecticut, and rose through the ranks to attain the rank of captain. He was with the Bristol department for eighteen years. Most recently, Patrick served as the director of public safety for more than two years in Fort Lupton, Colorado, before retiring in 1999.

Pearlie Bush was born and raised in a small town in Louisiana. After graduating high school, she attended Southern University, majoring in political science with a minor in English. While conducting her undergraduate studies, she was also active in politics and had the opportunity to work on the campaigns of Senator Willie Crain and Charles Jones, and she also served as Senator Crain's committee clerk at the Louisiana State Capital.

She went on to earn her law degree from the Southern University Law Center. In law school, she concentrated her studies in the areas of contract and constitutional law. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk for the Louisiana Public Defender's Office. While working for the Public Defender's Office, she drafted various motions and briefs on several landmark cases.

After graduating law school, she moved to Georgia and ran a private law office. Pearlie also worked as a case law editor for Lexis-Nexis and edited and prepared final drafts for legal cases stored in the company's data base. Pearlie has taught various legal courses at a variety of institutions. In her free time, as little as it is, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with her husband, children, friends, and family. Mindy Harada is an employment tax specialist and has over 19 years of employment tax experience as an independent consultant, an employee with one of the "Big Four" firms, and as a payroll tax auditor with the state of California.

Mindy provides consulting services encompassing the complete array of human resource and payroll tax issues. These include payroll tax minimization studies, downsize consulting, payroll tax compliance reviews, and independent contractor studies. Mindy represents clients in many different industries at both the state and federal level during independent contractor and payroll compliance audits.

Laurie has managed the disbursement function of large corporations, having been the senior disbursements manager with responsibility for payroll and accounts payable at Excite@Home Corporation, senior payroll manager at DHL Airways, Inc., and payroll manager at Oracle Corporation.
