This program is designed to prepare the student for an entry-level position as a full-charge bookkeeper. Bookkeeping experience is not required.
Requirements/Materials Included
Our bookkeeping courses can be taken on either a PC or a Mac. Students need to have access to Microsoft Word and Excel to complete the assignments. Students do not need Quickbooks software. GES provides an online tutorial that simulates Quickbooks so students can learn to use the program from any Internet-capable computer. The Quickbooks tutorial is not Mac compatible and must be accessed on a PC or IBM compatible computer. The bookkeeping course, offering Quickbooks certification is compatible with the Microsoft Vista Operating System.

GES provides the required textbook, Bookkeeping the Easy Way, and access to the Quickbooks online training module.
