Laurie Ulrich Fuller has been using, teaching about, and writing about computers and software for more than 20 years. Her own education is in the arts, and she has been a professional graphic designer for many years. She started her own company in 1992 to provide design, marketing, training, and technical documentation services to companies all over the world. Laurie is the author of several titles on Photoshop, InDesign, and graphic design topics in general, including The Photoshop CS3 Bible (as well as the CS2 edition of the same book) and How to Do Everything Adobe InDesign CS4. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. She was an adjunct faculty member at Temple University for more than 10 years, teaching everything from Microsoft Office to Adobe Photoshop to Web Design.
- Prerequisites/Audience
This program is for students who have Internet access, e-mailing capabilities, and an installed copy of Photoshop CS5 (Mac or Windows). This software is not provided with the program; you'll need to have your own copy of Photoshop CS5 installed to complete the training. Previous experience with Photoshop is not necessary.
- Requirements/Materials Included
Two textbooks, Photoshop CS5 Digital Classroom and Graphic Design Basics, are included in the program fee. Photoshop software is not included. You will need to have Photoshop CS5 (Mac or Windows) already installed. This course can be taken on a PC or a Mac. You will need access to the Internet (high-speed cable or DSL is recommended) and e-mailing capabilities.
Your computer must support Internet Explorer (versions 5.5 through 8) or Firefox (any version). You will need Windows 7 or Windows Vista. You will also need Adobe Reader.
