See how a Course Works: Intro to Online Learning
Description
Wedding planner training is one of our most popular course offerings and allows students to work at their own pace, from the comfort of their own homes as their schedules permit.
Each year, millions of weddings produce tons of refuse that has a tremendous environmental impact. Anthropologist Margaret Mead once said "We won't have a society if we destroy the environment."
Green weddings are celebrations of our increasing awareness of the need to care for your environment. At green weddings, couples don't simply affirm their commitment to one another, they also affirm their commitment to a sustainable life together.
Our wedding planner training for certified green wedding planners equips students with the knowledge and resources to help couples make eco-friendly choices throughout the wedding planning process.
The LWPI Green Wedding Planning course teaches the wedding planner everything he or she needs to know to help clients make decisions that lead to a better world for all of us.
Wedding planners have the power to influence their clients and industry businesses to take action to reduce the environmental impact traditional wedding planning can have on our planet.
Fact: Did you know that the average traditional wedding produces 400 pounds of garbage and 63 tons of CO2?
From the choice of rings to the gowns and makeup, there are green options available.
